The Sako S20 Precision FL CKT is a high-end hybrid bolt-action rifle manufactured by the prestigious Finnish firm Sako. It is designed specifically for long-range shooters and stalking hunters looking for maximum modularity and guaranteed sub-MOA ballistic performance.
The model's acronym represents its most advanced configuration: FL (Fluted) indicates that it incorporates a fluted barrel, and CKT (Cerakote) refers to its high-resistance ceramic coating against abrasion, scratches and corrosion.
Main technical specifications
- Hybrid Modular Structure: Features an internal aircraft-grade aluminum chassis that channels recoil linearly. Allows quick exchange of the stock and handguard with the Hunter version.
- FL Barrel (Fluted): Cold Hammer Forged (CHF). The fluted design reduces the overall weight of the weapon, increases rigidity and speeds cooling during long series of shots. It comes from the factory with a thread on the muzzle (5/8x24 UNEF pitch).
- CKT (Cerakote) finish: Surface ceramic treatment for extreme protection in action and barrel, ideal for withstanding the worst inclement weather in mountain or humid environments.
- Precision Stock: Designed for high-precision shooting, it has a non-slip vertical tactical grip, a height-adjustable cheek piece using a numerical scale and an adjustable stock length using spacers. It also has rear-shooting monopod anchors and an M-LOK system on the handguard.
- Action and Bolt: Three-lug stainless steel bolt with a smooth 60-degree opening angle and interchangeable handle. The Picatinny rail comes directly machined onto the steel action to ensure maximum rigidity in the optic mounts.
- Adjustable trigger: Allows you to adjust both the shooting weight (between 1 and 2 kg) and the physical position of the trigger (forward or backward) to adapt to the size of the shooter's hand. It is available in single-stroke or two-stroke versions.
